Greetings Friends,
As most of you know, I, Magus Fenrir Therion, have been a Templar (public representative) for the Therian Temple for several years now. My duties have included running the official Therian Temple website and forum as well as being a press contact and speaking on behalf of Therian Temple to the public.
I have enjoyed and readily given my efforts and energies to all things Therian Temple, and I am thankful to have been given the opportunity to represent this great organization.
However, I will no longer be attending this post for the Therian Temple.

HP N. Noctis has already taken over the rest of the online aspects of running the Therian Temple, and she will be the primary contact for now. Her direct email is noctiscultus@gmail.com.

The reason for my resignation from Templar status is not that I have grown lazy or infirm, but rather that I will not be able to provide online assistance, nor will I be able to be in frequent contact with the public or press.
At the end this month, I will be moving into my new computer-less home and effectively, living “off the grid”.
I will only be able to access email perhaps once every month or month and a half (sometimes longer) when I visit my family’s home, and only my close friends will have my cellphone number.

Happy Templum Natalis!

Today is the Four-Year Anniversary of the opening of the Therian Temple to Public Membership and the 2-year anniversary of the first publication of Liber Bestia Ritus!
Previous to the establishment of publicly-accessible Membership, there was only the Therian Bible and the small group of founding members, who are now known as the Ordo Vir Bestia.
The addition of Liber Bestia Ritus to the Therian Bible gave Therian Magicians everywhere a new set of useful organized Therian Rituals which were advanced beyond the existing Basic Shift Rituals.

The Ordo vir Bestia has ordained that this day be our first officially celebrated Holiday among all those within the Therian Temple, and shall be called “Templum Natalis” (Birthday of the Temple).

In observance of this Holiday, today would be a great day for Therian Rituals, studying the Therian Bible and Liber Bestia Ritus, and to give to / support Animal Charities.

Vexillarius Templi (Waived Fee) Memberships & SIG Orders Unveiled

SIG Orders:

We have organized / activated the Special Interest Group Orders (SIG Orders) within the Therian Temple Membership. SIG Orders act as commonality-based “friendly societies” and can also act as “meeting places” for TT Members to discuss and engage in activities related to topics and issues of interest to them.

Special Exceptions / Vexillarius Templi Memberships:
For individuals who have expressed special needs, arrangements may be made for the Required Donation to be waived in certain circumstances.
This status of membership is called Vexillarius Templi , and those requesting it must reasonably prove both their need and basic understanding of the precepts of Therian Magic.
Individuals applying for Vexillarius Templi Memberships may be required to provide a photo or additional information upon request.

THE THERIAN BIBLE @ The Otherkin and Therianthrope Book List

 

The Therian Bible is apparently listed on an “Otherkin and Therianthrope Book List”. However, the majority of the information presented there is incorrect!

Corrections:

#1: The Therian Bible is NOT only 24 pages long (the real book is 47 pages of small-faced text) and we in the Ordo vir Bestia have no idea what type of “bootleg” copy was passed off to this person as our Book, but they were obviously ripped off!

#2: Their statement “The Therian Temple sells their Therian Bible only to people who have taken an oath and applied for membership.” is INCORRECT. The Therian Bible is readily Available to anyone who wishes to purchase it from our site at theriantemple.com . Applying for membership (with Oath included) is a wholly separate interaction.

#3: Their statement “Many therians responded negatively when they heard of the temple,” is MISLEADING. A small (10-12) group of extremely opinionated herd “therians” (ages 15-20 and one board Admin aged 50) at one online message board can only be defined as “many therians” if one has no knowledge of or contact with the thousands of Therians (or some who call themselves “Weres”) who exist worldwide, and have either no relation to, or interest in unsolicited internet opinion-giving.

#4:Isaac Bonewits is NOT an Authority on the Occult, Cults, Religion, or any other subject. Many groups who have never harmed anyone have been attacked by the embittered self-proclaimed “Professional Occultist”Isaac Bonewits, and other extremists who follow his lead. #5:”Lupa” who supposedly reviewed our Book for all the young net-therians, does not even self-identify as a Therian! In her own words, from her own site: “I use the term pagan for simplicity’s sake, though more accurately I’m a totemist, an animist and a pantheist.” While we Therians understand and respect those paths and beliefs, we all know that none of them are the same as being a Therianthrope yourself, and we also know that it is VERY difficult for non-Therians to relate to & understand Therian Magic.
