This was recently in the news online, also in several newspapers:
A Wisconsin man who is facing drugs and property charges after being arrested while claiming that he was a werewolf and speaking what reportedly sounded like a medieval language.
39-year-old Robert Marsh was arrested after trying to break into a woman’s apartment on March 1, breaking the deadbolt on her door and grabbing her arm in the process, in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.
He had been staying with the woman for a few days after getting out of jail, reports the Fond du Lac Reporter. During that time, he had not slept, but had drunk quite a lot and had become incoherent.
He had also mentioned frequently that he was a werewolf. In addition, he noted that was involved in witchcraft, and ‘had powers’.
When confronted by police, he helpfully warned them that he was able to change form, although he politely refrained from shape-shifting whilst being arrested. He was found to be in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
In court, he gave his address as the Fond du Lac County Jail.
Police are not yet believed to have investigated the possibility that he actually is a werewolf.

So I thought it fit to give the official statement on this and any other like activities which may occur:
This person has no connection with the Therian Temple, and, to our knowledge, is not a representative of any other organized Temple or Church.
As is stated in our literature, the Therian Temple does NOT condone any type of illegal activity, and ANY jail-able activity is a violation of our Code.
Also, dis-similar to this person’s beliefs, the Therian Temple NEVER claims that anyone or anything can physically “change form” into another species.
Belief in the concept / idea of physiomorphic shape-shifting is not required or even condoned in the Therian Temple.
People such as the perpetrator in the Wisconsin case are not considered by the Therian Temple to be “werewolves”, but rather people with mental delusions who should seek professional treatment.
Our sincerest condolences go out to the victim in this case, and to anyone else who has any negative interactions or experiences with people claiming to be “werewolves”, and we hope they don’t judge the Therian or “were-” community based on the actions of this type of disturbed individual.
